Safetynet
Collision Avoidance System
Vehicle operators moving their loads around warehouses do not always see or hear others working in close proximity. A forklift operator caring a full pallet has a partially obstructed view. Noise from motors hinders a driver’s ability to hear people and other vehicles. Even when safety procedures are followed, these natural workplace distractions are unavoidable and create unsafe conditions. Under these working conditions accidence are going to happen.
We understand hazardous work environments and created Safetynet, a wireless Collision Avoidance System that makes the workplace safer. Safetynet provides an early warning to people and vehicle drives of potentially accidents. This system is ideal for warehouses where mobile equipment, including cranes, and people work in close proximity.
Smart Sensors; Fewer Accidents
The system consist of wireless RF devices, including a hardhat unit worn by warehouse and factory workers; a vehicle unit for forklifts, frontend loaders, and mobile equipment; a crane unit and an intersection alert unit. Working together as a system, they provide an alert to potentially “dangerous” situations such as approaching vehicles or unseen people.
What makes this technology so special is that each device is “smart”. They are equipped with a wireless transceiver that enables the units to transmit and receive messages. Messages are translated by an onboard processor and appropriate action is taken. For more information go to the Safetynet web site at www.wrfree.com/safetynet.
